Rana Daggubati forayed into Telugu films with Leader in 2010 and he got national recognition with Baahubali franchise. Post Baahubali 2, Rana did few films in Tollywood and Bollywood. Looks like he now wants the tests the water of Mollywood.
Rana's next film will be a periodic drama of Anizham Thirunal Marthanda Varma: The King of Travancore. Recently, he paid a visit to Sri Padmanabha Swamy Temple in Thiruvananthapuram, Kerala to seek the blessings of the lord.
He also called upon the royal family of Thiruvithamkoor to know more details about them. The royal family welcomed Rana and have presented a book to him which contains all the details of kingdom with details of who have ruled it so including the timeline of the ruling.
Rana's Malayalam flick will be directed by K Madhu and produced by Seven Arts Mohan. The film is currently in pre-production stage and is expected a roll out very soon.
