2 Medaram Pilgrims Killed In Road Mishap

Medaram: Two persons who set off for Medaram Jatara, were killed on their way when the auto rickshaw they were travelling collided with a lorry on Tadvai-Pasra highway on Wednesday.

The victims were identified as P Anjaiah (50) and his son Naveen (23). They are from Chevitgudem village in Aswapuram mandal in Bhadradri-Kothagudem district. While son and father died on the spot, four others who were injured in the mishap were shifted to government hospital. A case has been registered against lorry driver for reckless driving and investigation is on.
