Hyderabad: The Andhra Pradesh PCC chief, N Raghuveera Reddy has revealed that the Congress party’s vice president, Rahul Gandhi’s tour dates for Anantapur are confirmed. He will be visiting Anantapur on February 2 on the occasion of the 10th anniversary of the NREGA program, he said.

Addressing the media on Tuesday at Hyderabad, Raghuveera Reddy pointed out that the National Rural Employment Guarantee Scheme was begun by the Congress President Sonia Gandhi during the UPA government’s rule. He accused the NDA government of watering down the Employment guarantee scheme that the UPA government had initiated.
