QNET Fraud Case: Michael Ferreira, 3 Others In Cyberabad Police Custody
Hyderabad: Cyberabad police obtained a prison transit (PT) warrant from a Mumbai court on Tuesday to bring back former national billiards champion Michael Ferreira and three others to the city and are likely to be produced before local court on Wednesday.
The official said that Ferreira is an 80 percent share holder in Vihaan and a case has been registered in this with Madhapur police station
"Mumbai court said that since Ferreira is aged person he should be taken on a flight to Hyderabad," said Vishwa Prasad, Deputy Commissioner, Madhapur zone.
The official said that the accused will be questioned in connection to multi-crore QNET multi-level marketing (MLM) fraud case through its franchise company called Vihaan Direct Selling Pvt Ltd.
The accused are Michael Ferreira, Malcolm Nozer Desai, Magarlal V Balaji and V Srinivas Rao.
The official said that Ferreira is an 80 percent share holder in Vihaan and a case has been registered in this with Madhapur police station.
