School Principal Commits Suicide Over Sexual Harassment By Male Colleague

Hyderabad: A Srilatha (36), the principal of Trident School in Narsingi committed suicide in Puppalguda on Tuesday following harassment by her male colleague. The victim was co-principal for education, while the suspect R Sridhar was a co-principal for administration.
The family alleged that she was continuously stalked by the suspect and was asked for sexual favors. They said that she feared of losing her job hence she didn’t approach to the police
She was found hanging from the sari in the bathroom. Her brother broke open the door and rushed her to the hospital, but doctors declared her dead. The victim was staying with her mother for past four days.

Police have filed a case and arrested the suspect who is in prison on remand, said Dhananjay, Narsingi sub-inspector.
The victim is survived by her husband Ravindra Kumar and 10-year-old son.
