PV Sindhu’s Parents Pray Family Deity Ratnalamma for Success in Olympics
West Godavari: PV Sindhu’s father Venkata Ramana along with family members on Friday offered prayers at Sri Ratnalamma temple in Pedavegi. Venkata Ramana said that “we prayed for the success of Sindhu in the Rio Olympics. Praying the family deity has been a tradition for us.”
Numerous fans across the country are offering prayers and performing homams for the success of PV Sindhu to win gold medal at Rio Olympics.
Taking spirits of the country to skies, shuttler PV Sindhu entered finals of women’s singles by beating Nozomi Okuhara of Japan in the semifinal match on Thursday. World’s Number 10 PV Sindhu will play against Carolina Marin of Spain in the finals. Left-handed top seed Marin has won the last two World Championships.
