Prudhviraj Ordered To Pay Rs8 Lakh Alimony Per Month To Estranged Wife 

Vijayawada: Malireddy Prudhviraj alias Seshu, the famous ‘30-year-industry’ comedian in Tollywood, has been ordered to pay Rs 8 lakh per month as alimony to his estranged wife Srilakshmi.

A family court that heard the case filed by Srilakshmi on Thursday issued the orders. The actor never attended the court proceedings during the hearing since January this year when the case was filed at a police station in the city under section 498A for domestic violence.

Prudhvi got married to Srilakshmi in 1984 and they have two grown up children. The family stayed in Vijayawada until they shifted to Hyderabad after the actor got a break and started getting major roles . Prudhvi is currently in high demand in the industry, especially after his “30-year-industry” dialogue clicked in Khadgam movie.

Srilakshmi alleged that her husband has neglected her and has caused her mental agony. She also contended that she could no longer live with him. After submitting his income details to the court, Srilakshmi sought an alimony of Rs 10 lakh per month. However, the court sanctioned Rs 8 lakh per month after examining all the sources of his income.
