Protesting YSRCP MLAs arrested at Assembly

The MLAs of YSR Congress were taken into custody on Tuesday while they were staging a demonstration protesting against adjournment of assembly session without discussing people’s problems.

The YSRCP MLAs staged protest rally at Gate two of the Assembly. They demanded that the government should make an announcement immediately on the power tariff hike. They criticised that the government did not show a solution to the power crisis. The police intervened and arrested the MLAs.
