Protest mars last day of World Telugu Conference

The three-day World Telugu Conference on Saturday was marred by confusion created by the organisers on performances to be staged by folk artistes from Telangana region.

The artistes staged a protest as they were not given a proper schedule for staging their presentations.

Artistes from other regions got in to an argument with the protestors and the organizers had to intervene and pacify both the groups.

The organisers are already facing flak from the participants and public for mishandling several issues at the conference.  The conference concludes on Saturday.
