Protests, arrests on power supply continue


Police arrested several opposition leaders who were stealthily planning to enter the Vidyan Soudha Complex.

In the wake of the TRS protest yesterday, the police today tightened the security near Vidyan Soudha premises.Police arrested many activists around the Vidyan Soudha complex.

After many arrests, opposition leaders and activists stopped heading towards the TRANSCO head quarters in the heart of the city.
Police also took into custody many protestors near the  Khairatabad crossroads.
Police also  held TDP MLAs, Errabelli Dayakarrao and Mahendhr Reddy when they  tried to stage a protest at the Vidyan Soudha .The leaders  traveled in an RTC bus to reach the compex instead of using their vehicles.
On the other side police conducted some pre-emptive arrests and held some TRS and TDP leaders.
