Vikarabad: Prime minister Narendra Modi's estranged wife Jashodaben visited Vikarabad on Friday.

She offered prayers in Nagadevatha temple here and unveiled a statue of Dr. Amedkar in the temple premises. On learning about her arrival, crowds thronged the spot in huge numbers to have a glance of Jashodaben.

The district administration did not make any arrangements as she is not living with the prime minister.

Modi was married to Jashodaben at the age of 18. The couple lived together for three months and then Modi left her, to travel across India. Later he got involved in his work with RSS and until he became prime minister, she was in total oblivion.
