Press council finds fault with AP CM Chandrababu
Press Council of India found fault with the attitude of Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N.Chandrababu Naidu.
It may be recalled that the journalists of Sakshi media group were not being allowed to various programs of the state government and to the press meets of the chief minister Chandrababu Naidu for some time.
Indian Journalists Union had complained to the press council on the matter. The council clarified that the act is nothing but violating the fundamental rights. “The act of the chief minister is violating Article 14 of the Constitution of India,” said the council.
The council appointed a three member enquiry committee consisting of Rajiv Ranjan Nag, K.Amarnath and Pragnananda Choudhury to look into the matter.
