President Gets Warm Welcome At Begumpet Airport

President Ramnath Kovind was given a warm welcome when he touched down at the Begumpet airport on Tuesday evening to take part in the valedictory of the World Telugu Conference in Hyderabad.
This is President Kovind's first visit to Hyderabad after assuming office. Government ESL Narasimhan, Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao and several ministers were among those who received him. President would be the chief guest at the closing ceremony of World Telugu conference being held at the Lal Bahadur Stadium.
From Begumpet airport, the President headed straight to the Raj Bhavan. He would return to Raj Bhavan after the programme and make an overnight stay. On Wednesday morning, he will pay a visit to the Buddha Statue in Hussain Sagar and then leave for New Delhi.
