YS Jagan Padayatra Reaches 3200 Km In Salur
Vizianagaram: Leader of Opposition in Andhra Pradesh Assembly and YSR Congress Party (YSRCP) Chief YS Jagan Mohan Reddy reached yet another milestone in his mass outreach program, Praja Sankalpa Yatra, which is aimed at understanding the public issues at large. On Day 293 of YS Jagan's padayatra, the people's leader crossed the 3,200 kilometer milestone at Baguvalasa in Salur mandal in the district. In memory of the landmark, the Opposition leader planted a Fabaceae tree here.
TDP Rule A Nightmare For Public
Among the scores of people who were pouring out their woes to YS Jagan, were several art craft teachers, Sarva Shiksha Abhiyan, Health department and contract employees who met him and requested for job security to them. The Sarva Shiksha Abhiyan workers expressed their anguish that their salaries were not hiked since 2003, while Asha workers asked him for reasonable compensation. There is a dire situation in TDP's rule, in which even the educated people are forced to sit idle at home, they said.
