Congress Joining Hands With Telangana Traitor Chandrababu: Harish Rao

Speaking at a meeting organised by Siddipet Private Electricals Association at the Reddy Welfare Association building here on Sunday - Sakshi Post

Siddipet: Telangana caretaker minister for Irrigation, Harish Rao lashed out at Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Nara Chandrababu Naidu saying the Congress party was joining hands with the traitors of Telangana in the name of a grand alliance. He remarked that the Congress was putting the identity of Telangana in a spot by mortgaging the self-respect of people of the State at Amaravati. Speaking at a meeting organised by Siddipet Private Electricals Association at the Reddy Welfare Association building here on Sunday, he said that unanimous resolutions should made in favour of TRS in the upcoming polls. The Congress leaders are more concerned about power, seats and votes than the aspirations of the State, he added.

Harish Rao urged the public to treat the Congress party's alliance with the Chandrababu as an agreement made with anti-telangana forces. He said that the TRS party should be strengthened and KCR should be voted back to power in the interests of the prosperity of the State. Recalling the blasted transformers and burned out motor pumps, he asked what former CM Kiran Kumar Reddy, who had predicted that Telangana would be blacked out in darkness due to lack of electricity, was doing these days. The TRS under the leadership of caretaker CM KCR had achieved in the last four years what the Congress could not in the past 40 years, he added.

The TRS leader mentioned that 24 hours of uninterrupted power was being supplied to the farmers and that the government was supporting the needs of the farmer by providing financial assistance through Rythu Beema scheme. "By setting up an industrial park across 500 acres, the local youth, Arya Vaisya industrialists and electricians would be benefited. It is worth appreciating that employees are supporting TRS in large numbers. The resolution in favour of TRS across the constituency would remain in the history," he added.

Women, Children Donate Savings To TRS Election Fund

Several women and children from Siddipet's Arya Vaisya association have donated their savings to the party and handed them over to Harish Rao. In addition to donating Rs 1 lakh worth savings, the members of the association promised to victory by a majority of 1 lakh votes to the TRS. In the meeting, MP Kotha Prabhakar Reddy, former MLAs Satish Kumar, Solipeta Ramalinga Reddy, Ganesh Gupta, MLC Farooq, Municipal Chairperson Raja Narsu, SUDA Chairman Ravinder Reddy, Councillor Venugopal Reddy and others participated.
