Kodela Taking Corruption To New High: YSRCP

Guntur: YSR Congress Party MLA Dr Gopireddi Srinivasa Reddy said that state legislative assembly speaker Kodela Sivaprasad Rao took corruption to a new high. Speaking to media here today, he observed that the TDP leaders were involved in large-scale corruption at every level. There was no stopping TDP leaders, and moreover Telugu Youth President was directly involved in betting at Narsaraopet, he said.

Dr Gopireddi observed that right under the nose of Kodela, his son and daughter were involved in corrupt practices. He challenged the assembly speaker to take an oath in front of the Kottappa temple that he was not involved in any corruption. Who were involved in a range of issues including land grabbing at Devennadevi, threatening railway contractors for commission and collecting Rs one lakh for every apartment that has been allotted to public, he asked. Kodela should be held responsible for all the illegal and corrupt practices that were happening in Sattenapalli, he added.
