Police Beat Mother For Son’s Theft

Nizamabad: In a shocking incident, the police in the town thrashed a woman after her son committed theft in the Komalancha Tanda in Nijam Sagar.

According to reports, the people in the Tanda lodged a complaint with the police against the woman Balamani's son Raju for committing theft. The police arrested Raju and questioned him about the stolen things. They beat him black and blue to disclose the booty. Unable bear the torture, Raju told them that he had given the booty to his mother Balamani.

The police along with the boy went to his house around midnight and asked Balamani to return the things. They also searched the house but did not find anything and later on they thrashed her severely to disclose the stolen property. When Balamani fell unconscious, the police left the place.

The victims demanded justice for the inhuman behavior of the police.
