Piracy Hits DJ, Jai Lava Kusa; Films Leaked On Social Sites 

DJ director and producer file complaint after their film was hit by piracy - Sakshi Post

Hyderabad: Duvvada Jagannadham (DJ) and Jai Lava Kusa makers approached cyber crime wing on Wednesday, who lodged two complaints separately, after two films were hit by piracy.

DJ director Harish Shankar along with producer Dil Raju said that the film was leaked on Facebook and YouTube by unknown miscreants. They further said that the print quality of leaked version was not good and speculate that it must have been shot from a theater. "We are tracking the IP addresses from where the movie was uploaded," said ACP Raghuveer of the Cyber Crime police.

Jr NTR's film Jai Lava Kusa clippings were leaked by a known person from the production department. The person identified as Rakesh was behind the leaks and was arrested.

Few months ago Baahubali got entangle with piracy where the offender demanded Rs15 lakh for not uploading the copy. The police arrested a gang of six after the complaint from the makers.
