Phone tapping: AP DGP, CS leave for Delhi

Hyderabad: As the phone tapping incident involving Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Chandra Babu Naidu continues to hit the headlines, state's Director General of Police (DGP) Jasti Venkatramudu and Chief Secretary I.Y.R.Krishna Rao will be flying to Delhi on Wednesday.

The move comes against the backdrop of AP cabinet’s decision to file a complaint with the Central government regarding the phone tapping issue.AP legislators alleged that as many as 120 MLA's phone was tapped by Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB).
Meanwhile ACB Director General A.K. Khan denied any phone tapping and said that they investigate any case in accordance with the law of the land, he added.
