People feeling cheated by Babu's false promises: YS Jagan - Sakshi Post

YSR Congress Party chief YS Jagan Mohan Reddy said that his 2-day deeksha is meant to support the farmers and DWCRA women groups who are being cheated by AP CM Chandrababu. 

The deeksha is aimed at standing by the farmers in times of crisis caused by non-fulfilment of election-eve promises.

Addressing massive crowd that gathered at Tanuku to express solidarity with his Deeksha, the YSRCP chief said that everyone is aware of how Chandrababu has lied to the people. "People who believed his promises are feeling cheated now. To stand by the farmers and women's groups who are crestfallen and are at the crossroads, I have begun the Deeksha," he said.
He thanked the people for their unprecedented support braving heat and sun to join the protest.
He recalled that YSRCP had held protest demonstrations at all the district and mandal headquarters to expose the dubious ways of Chandrababu Naidu.
He also appealed to the farmers to speak out their problems and how Chandrababu had duped them. The YSRCP chief garlanded the bust of his father late YS Rajasekhara Reddy at the venue marking the beginning of his deeksha.
Thousands of farmers, women in particular reached Tanuku to participate in the deeksha.
The YSRCP chief concluded the introductory speech by saying he would make a detailed speech on Sunday evening.
