People detain AP Transco engineer in Eluru

An official of AP Transco was confined by villagers for not supplying power for the past two days. The incident occurred at Eluru in West Godavari district.

Angered by black-outs for two-days at Chiranjeevin Bus stop centre, the local people of Eluru detained Assistant Engineer working with AP Transco in a room. He however, was released with intervention of the police. The people alleged that they spent in dark for two days and their request to provide power supply went unheeded.
