Pawan Kalyan's veiled warning to BJP on 'special status'

Finally, the BJP's best friend has opened up and in a veiled warning, Pawan Kalyan reminded the BJP of its promise to accord special status to Andhra Pradesh.

Janasena chief Pawan Kalyan broke his silence and 'expressed the hope' that the BJP would not let down the aspiration of the people, who supported and believed them.

The actor-turned-politico, who went into silent mode post elections, on Monday, took to Twitter. "Last year the State Bifurcation Bill was passed in the parliament in a Haphazard manner by the Congress,the BJP also extended its support"

" And BJP also agreed to grant "Special Status" to the bifurcated State of A.P as it would be the affected region. Now the time has come to stand by that promise! I hope the BJP will not let down the aspirations of people who believed and supported them," he tweeted.

In the last elections, Pawan was the star campaigner and was seen everywhere holding forth for the BJP.
