Parigi MLA misleads Election Commission

Former TRS MLA Koppula Hariswar Reddy said that Parigi MLA T.Rammohan Reddy (Congress) has fudged his election expenses report submitted to the election commision.

He lodged a complaint with Ranga Reddy District Collector N.Sridhar on the same.

Speaking to reporters on Tuesday, he explained, “As per the official records, Rammohan Reddy told the officials that he spent an amount of Rs.22.15 lakh till April 26 on his election campaigning. An amount of Rs.14.30 lakh has been spent by the Congress Party for the public meeting of AICC Sonia Gandhi at Chevella. If we add these up, the total expenditure would be more than the permissible limits.”

Hariswar Reddy said that Rammohan Reddy did so thinking that the expense of conducting Sonia Gandhi’s meet would not fall under his personal expenditure. “As AICC president’s public meeting expenditure fell under his own, he manipulated the records,” alleged Hariswar Reddy.
