Jagan onslaught: Naidu loses cool, TDP loses way
TDP chief Chandrababu Naidu seems to have gone back to his old ways. The hour-long speech of Babu showed that not much has changed despite 10 years in wilderness. His angry gesticulation and finger-pointing is back.
Just read what he had said during his reply to the debate in the Assembly.
I have taught governance to the whole world. Should I learn lessons from you now?
You have to listen to my words. That's all.
Don't talk unnecessarily..Don't try to mix up things.
Your are confused and cannot convince public. Come out of your confusion. You cannot ask me to sign on the crop loan waiver file now and here.
I am a seven time MLA. I don't need to learn from new members.
Undaunted by his threats and warnings, YS Jagan repeatedly questioned Chandrababu on his poll promises.
Expressing concern over the farmers being not in a position to go ahead with the Kharif season, YS Jagan demanded Chandrababu to specify when he shall waive the crop loans
"The farmers in the state are deeply worried as the farm loan waiver did not happen. The famers are now forced to go to private money-lenders, "Jagan said. (Jagan counters TDP in AP Assembly)
With mounting pressure from Jagan, Chandrababu lost his cool. Whenever Jagan questioned the TDP chief on his poll promises, the TDP members were seen attacking late YSR in an apparent effort to sidetrack the issue.
Taking a dig at Chandrababu’s promise on giving job to a person in each and every household in the state, Jagan recalled the TDP advertisements on job creations that said ‘Jobs will come along with Naidu’. He further said thousands of people are on the verge of losing their jobs in the state let alone think of people getting new jobs with Naidu's arrival as CM. The five day assembly ended today without giving any assurances to farmers on loan waiver and passing the buck on to the Centre.
