Palem like accidents will not repeat: Mahendra Reddy

Telangana Transportation Minister P Mahendar Reddy on Wednesday termed the Palem bus accident that claimed 45 lives, an extremely tragic incident.

He made this comment soon after he took charge as the Transport minister.

Speaking to reporters in Hyderabad, he said that such type of accidents will not occur in the future. He also promised that his government will provide buses for every rural village. 

On October 30 last, a two-year-old kid and a pregnant woman were among those 45 lives that were tragically snuffed out after the bus ferrying them caught fire in Mahbubnagar.
