Hyderabad: In yet another major setback for Andhra Pradesh chief minister N. Chandrababu Naidu, an online petition in ‘cash-for-vote' case has gained momentum from the public demanding his prosecution without delay.

The petition initiated by one Thirumal Prasad Patil of Hyderabad a couple of days back attracted 8,145 supporters by Thursday. It needs another 1,855 signatories to reach 10,000 and then the Supreme Court may take action.

The petition is addressed to Supreme Court judge Justice Jagdish Singh Khehar and a copy has also been sent to all other judges in the apex court.
