Once giant killer, now a nonentity?

Bangaru Usharani was heralded as the giant killer, after she defeated Chiranjeevi in the 2009 elections from Palakollu.

Along with the superstar, even her party members underestimated her power. But she shocked everyone by defeating the hot favourite, and founder of erstwhile Praja Rajyam, Chiranjeevi. 

 In spite of her victory, Congress did not give her proper due, and neither could she connect with her public. Today, people accuse her of giving posts to her followers, and she has steadily lost her base in the constituency.

As per reports, she got a journalist, who was also her advisor, a post. Interestingly, the same journalist is waiting to topple her and stand from Palakollu instead. 

Usharani, has neither the support of the locals, nor is the party too keen to back her this elections. Once, a giant killer, Usharani has been reduced to a nonentity.
