No new districts in Telangana for now

Ever since K Chandrasekahara Rao assumed charge as Telangana CM, there were reports that he is planing to carve out new districts in Telangana.

There were reports that he had asked senior officials of the revenue department to prepare a comprehensive report on recreation of the new districts.
However, on Friday, KCR has categorically said that there would be no carving out of districts immediately. He said these were mere rumours. He however hinted that he would consider the recreation of the new districts only after reorganization of constituencies.
