Balakrishna ignores ministers

Film hero and MLA Balakrishna ignored two state ministers, who had been waiting for him for two hours, and laid foundation stones for several works in Hindupur constituency without them.

This left the party workers and leaders disappointed.

Local officials have decided to lay foundation stones for several developmental works in the town. For these programs, the ministers Kamineni Srinivas and Palle Raghunatha Reddy, health commissioner Sourabh Gour and other local officials waited for the MLA.

Balakrishna, who was two hours behind schedule, drove straight to the venue of pre-arranged programmes in Kotnur.

At the inauguration ceremony, the party leaders focused more on praising Balakrishna than listing out local problems. However, the programmes had to be rushed through as the actor-politician was way behind the schedule. There were 11 programmes planned for the day.
