Salaar: Prabhas Gets Less Than 100 Crore Remuneration?
After the magnum opus Baahubali, Prabhas charges about Rs 100 crore as his remuneration per film. He has a humongous fan base in the North, in addition to the South. Even films like Saaho and Radhe Shyam, which turned out to be disappointments at the box office, have managed to perform decently in mass pockets such as Bihar, UP, and Bombay.
However, Prabhas has reportedly been offered less than Rs 100 crore for Salaar, which is being made into two parts. According to the grapevine, Prabhas is upset with director Prashanth Neel and Hombale Films production over the cut in his fee.
The talks are currently ongoing, with efforts being made to persuade Prabhas. Since Prabhas did not have prior information about the cut in his remuneration, he is reportedly upset over this development, according to the rumour mills. Seemingly, this is, in turn, affecting the film's promotions as well. Let's wait for official confirmation, hoping that the issues will be resolved at the earliest. Salaar: Part 1 - Ceasefire is all set for a worldwide release on 22 December 2023. Stay tuned.
