Director Prashanth Neel cracks the success formula
To become a successful filmmaker, one must know the pulse of the audience. So many directors fail to narrate their own stories well. Director Prashanth Neel, who is basking in the success of his recently released Salaar, is a cut above the rest. He makes movies without a proper duet, a full-fledged heroine and a romantic track, but he can't make a film without charcoal-filled frames. That's what KGF and Salaar have proven.
People enter the film industry with a lot of dreams. Prashanth Neel is a different filmmaker. He was once honest enough to say that he makes movies to make big bucks!
He approached his brother-in-law (Sri Murali) with a story. Sri Murali didn't trust him because Neel had no prior experience. Later, Prashanth Neel prepared a script named Ugramm. The film was released in 2014 and created a sensation in Sandalwood. After that movie, Neel became noted in the Kannada film industry. Later, he worked on another script. That is KGF, which featured Yash in the lead role. We all know what a phenomenon it was.
In an interview, Prashanth Neel stated that he writes his stories after having a few pegs of drinks. He always gives importance to coal and monochrome frames. He sees everything in black because of his OCD problem. He also gives top-notch elevations to his lead actors.
Prashanth Neel was born in Anantapuram. He hails from Neelakanthapuram in Madakashira Mandal. His parents moved to Bangalore. He grew up watching Telugu movies. Thanks to the influence of Telugu cinema, mass elevations are central to his imagination.
Prabhas’ Salaar is unstoppable at the box office. His next is lined up with Jr NTR. He will also do Prabhas’s Salaar 2 and Yash’s KGF 3.
