Watch: Rahul Gandhi’s ‘Biryani pe Charcha’ at Hyderabad Restaurant

Hyderabad: Amid the flurry of political activity as the campaign in Telangana polls has reached crescendo, Congress leader and star campaigner Rahul Gandhi decided to take some time off from his hectic schedule and dropped in a restaurant in Hyderabad to taste its biryani. 

Wearing a polo T-shirt and regular trousers, Rahul was seen indulging in a casual conversation with the people at the venue. The video clip shared by Congress on its X handle shows people surrounding the Gandhi scion and engaging him in the conversation. 

The Congress leader had also engaged with the local youth at Ashok Nagar in the city on Saturday. He had shared about his interaction on X account. 

“Today in Ashoknagar, Hyderabad, I met the youth who are preparing for various competitive exams. I was moved by the fact that they had hoped that they would get success if Telangana came, but even 10 years after the state's arrival, their aspirations have not been fulfilled," Rahul Gandhi wrote on X post. 

Polling is scheduled to be held in Telangana on November 30 while the votes, along with four other states, will be counted on December 3. The ruling BRS appears to be fighting a fierce battle as a resurgent Congress may dent its prospects of scoring a hat-trick at the hustings.
