Warangal: Murder Mystery Of 9 Migrants Death Solved
WARANGAL: The mystery that surrounded the nine migrants' death in Warangal which created a sensation in the state has been solved. Warangal police have finally solved the murder mystery.
Police said one suspect Sanjay Kumar from Bihar has confessed to the crime that he killed those nine migrant workers. He confessed that he sought his friend's help while killing them, police said. Sanjay said he had killed them at the directions of one of the deceased Maqsood Alam's son-in-law who lives in Delhi.
Kumar said that he had given sleeping pills to the deceased. After the victims fell unconscious, with the help of his friends, he dumped them into an open well at a Supriya cold storage unit at Gorrekunta village under the Geesugonda police station limits.
Nine persons including six of a family were found dead in the open well. Four bodies were retrieved on Thursday evening and the other five bodies were found on Friday morning.
According to police, the deceased included Maqsood Alam and his wife Nisha hailing from West Bengal who had come for livelihood to Warangal 20 years ago and they were working in a jute bag company. The bodies of Maqsood Alam, his wife Nisha, daughter Bushara Khatun, three-year-old grandson Baby Shakeel, sons Sohail and Shabad, and Shakeel Ahmed hailing from Tripura and Sriram and Shyam from Bihar were found in the open well.
