Telangana Votes: Govt Declares Nov 30 as Public Holiday

Hyderabad: The Telangana government has declared the November 30 polling day as a public holiday for all the employees and workers in the state. The Labour department issued an order stating in view of upcoming polling in the state, November 30 will be a paid holiday. 

The order further stated all factories, business establishments and industries will remain shut on November 30 and urged all eligible voters to exercise their franchise on the voting day. The Telangana state will go to polls on November 30 and the counting of votes will take place on December 03.
