RS Praveen Kumar Criticises KCR, BSP To Gain Stand In Telangana

 - Sakshi Post

Former IPS officer RS Praveen Kumar who took voluntary retirement in July has joined the Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP) at a public meeting conducted at Nalgonda. He joined BSP in the presence of its National Coordinator, Ramji Gautam.

Praveen Kumar has a good following amongst the Dalit youth and intellectuals. He is likely to cut into the Dalit vote bank of TRS. Addressing the meeting on Sunday evening he said that Dalits and Bahujans should work hard to achieve political power in Telangana. He criticized the TRS government and said that if CM KCR and TRS have the love for the downtrodden then they can sell their own properties and spend that money for the development of Bahujans.

Praveen Kumar has been appointed BSP's coordinator for Telangana. He said that "BSP gave me a huge responsibility of transforming our lives from slavery to becoming rulers." He said that everyone should work hard to get to Pragathi Bhavan.

He further added that Telangana was formed after the sacrifices of many people. He criticized Telangana CM KCR and said that many forces have tried to stop those who wanted to come to the meeting.

Praveen Kumar said that police filed cases on him immediately after he submitted his resignation. He said that his mother was shocked when he left his job as IPS. He said that he left his job only to serve the downtrodden people who are still in slavery.

BSP was in the Telangana state for the last few years but it couldn't make an impact. But with Praveen Kumar's entry, the party is surely going to create its mark as he is popular amongst the Dalit youth.

Praveen Kumar worked for Telangana Social Welfare Residential Educational Institutions Society (TSWREIS) and Telangana Tribal Welfare Residential Educational Institutions (TTWREIS) for nearly 10 years.
