Osmania University Students Warn Pawan Kalyan
Hyderabad: As Jana Sena Party (JSP) chief Pawana Kalyan prepares to enter the election fray in Telangana, he is facing opposition from an unknown quarter – Osmania University. The students of OU have warned the Jana Sena leader against doing politics in the state.
The students from OU-JAC staged a protest on the campus while holding ‘Go back, Pawaan Kalyan’ placards in their hands. They said the Jana Sena leader is not a serious politician and he has no concern for public issues. We will not allow him to engage in politics here, the students added.
Meanwhile, the Jana Sena party has announced candidates for 8 seats for the November 30 Assembly elections in Telangana. Jana Sena has formed an alliance with the Telangana BJP for contesting elections in the state. The party has decided to field candidates in Kukatpally, Tandur, Kodad, Nagarkurnool, Khammam, Kothagudem, Wyra (ST) and Ashwaraopet (ST) assembly segments.
