HYDRA Back After a Gap: Demolition Drive Begins in Yapral, Hyderabad

After a brief gap, HYDRA (Hyderabad Disaster Response and Assets Monitoring and Protection) has once again directed its JCBs to resume work. On Friday (December 6), HYDRA carried out demolitions of illegal structures in Yapral, located in the Jawaharnagar area of Medchal district. HYDRA officials demolished a function hall located in Survey Number 32/14, stating that it was constructed on government land.

Due to the controversy surrounding these demolitions, Hydra has toned down its aggressive approach. The High Court's directives have put a temporary halt to its rapid actions. Demolitions are now being carried out only after confirming the legality of the constructions. Recently, the government has received complaints about land encroachments and illegal constructions in the Jawaharnagar area, where Hydra recently carried out demolitions.
