Farmers can receive money in their bank accounts within 24 hours, which is great news.

Telangana: Harish Rao discussed Grain purchases with officials. The authorities were told to speed up transactions and take action to ensure that the funds are credited into farmers' accounts within 24 hours of the grain being purchased.

T. Harish Rao, the state finance minister, held a teleconference with officials to discuss the status of grain procurement in the Siddipet district.

K. Chandrasekhar Rao, the Chief Minister of Telangana, has set aside Rs. 26,000 crore for grain purchases in the state.

According to the finance minister, Chief Minister KCR aimed to deposit the money into the farmers' accounts within 24 hours after the grain was purchased.

As soon as the grain is unloaded at the mill, the tab entry will be done. The minister ordered that the money be deposited into farmers' accounts within 24 hours of the tab entry being completed.

Purchase grain and complete tab entry as soon as possible for accurate information, he said. The farmers want to stop tarpaulin and gunny bag shortages, as well as transportation issues. The farmers want to avoid having to postpone the harvest due to unseasonal rainy conditions.

Officials in charge of the procurement centre were informed that if grain purchases and payments at the procurement centres were delayed, they should prepare for consequences.

At the teleconference, District Collector Venkatrami Reddy, Additional District Collector Shri Muzammil Khan, and others were present.
