8 Arrested For Cow Slaughter In Siddipet Of Telangana

Siddipet Police on Friday arrested a eight member gang on the charge of cow slaughtering. The arrested were Mohammad Zuber(45 years), Mohammad Khaja (35 years), Mohammad Sadam (30 years), Mohammad Arafat (24 years), Mohammad Ibrahim (32 years), Mohammad Harshad (25 years), Mohammad Arif (30 years), Mohammad Zaved (30 years) of Shahjid Peta, Siddipet. 

Police said that they have got a reliable information from sources claiming that a few have been slaughtering cows on the outskirts of Sircilla. Police reached the spot immediately and within six hours, they have caught the people who were responsible for slaughtering the cow. The  post mortem of the slaughtered cows have been conducted by a government veterinary doctor.

Police said that they are not going to spare anyone who is responsible for slaughtering the cows and they are going to take strict action against them. Police said that they will react on a fast track mode if anyone complains about the anti social activities that are taking place in their localties.

Siddipet Police Commissioner in a statement said that they will serve the public round the clock and action will be taken on anyone who commits crime.

The eight accused have been produced in front of Siddipet Judicial first class Magistrate today and they will be under judicial remand for 14 days. The accused have been shifted to Sangareddy jail. Cases under Sec 10 of prohibition of cows slaughter  Act, and Sec 11 of  prevention of cruelty to animal Act have been registered against the accused.
