Telangana: Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao has left for Delhi again. Earlier this month, he was slated to spend more than a week in Delhi. Going to Delhi once again has become a political priority. According to official sources, CM KCR will go to Delhi to attend a meeting with the Chief Ministers of Maoist-affected states organised by the Union Home Minister.
State home ministers or DGPs, on the other hand, frequently attend such sessions. CM KCR did not attend any of these meetings regularly. Interestingly, this is his second Delhi visit in the same month this time. Along with this meeting, it has been reported that CM KCR will meet several union ministers to discuss different issues concerning the state. However, there is much conjecture in political circles regarding CM KCR's current strategy in visiting Delhi.
CM KCR visited Delhi earlier this month and met the Prime Minister, Home Minister, and other ministers. State BJP officials, on the other hand, have voiced unhappiness over the Delhi elders meeting with CM KCR in a way that confuses the BJP ranks if they are battling politically with the TRS in Telangana. BJP officials, on the other hand, claim that CM KCR is meeting Union ministers as representatives of both the centre and the state.
However, BJP officials allege that CM KCR is taking advantage of these gatherings in a way that is politically damaging to them. There is speculation in BJP circles that CM KCR is planning a trip to Delhi to further confuse the BJP party's ranks.
Meanwhile, Congress insiders think that the CM is travelling to Delhi on a covert mission that no one outside of the KCR camp is aware of. It's being speculated that his recent trip to Delhi had something to do with his present visit. Overall, CM KCR's sudden decision to visit Delhi twice in the same month, despite not being a fan of Delhi tours has fuelled rumours of all kinds in political circles.
