September 25 - September 29: List of holidays for banks in India!

 - Sakshi Post

The Reserve Bank of India (RBI) has announced bank holidays for the General Elections of the State Legislative Assembly 2024 in Jammu and Kashmir. The legislative assembly elections, which are for the 90-member seat, kicked off on September 18 and will end on October 1, 2024, in three phases.

Notably, due to the elections, banks will be closed only in Srinagar, Jammu, and Kashmir. In the rest of the country, banks will continue to be operational. For the rest of September, banks will follow their regular schedule, with a few exceptions. September 26 and 27 will be regular working days for all banks.

However, September 28, the fourth Saturday of the month, will be a bank holiday. Additionally, September 29, being a Sunday, will also be a bank holiday across India. In September 2024, banks had 15 days of holidays, including both second and fourth Saturdays and four Sundays.
