September 24: Heavy rains in Telangana; holiday for schools, colleges likely!

As per the Indian Meteorological Department (IMD) report, a few areas in Hyderabad have been experiencing heavy rains since yesterday. The report says that there is a high chance of moderate to heavy rains to continue for three days from today till September 26.

The Nirmal, Nizamabad, Nalgonda, Mahabubabad, Suryapet, Rangareddy, Vikarabad, and Mahaboobnagar districts of Telangana will experience heavy rains. The report even added that there is a chance of rain with thunderstorms and lightning. Other places might have light to moderate rains for three days. 

The report says that there will be heavy rains tomorrow, September 24, so the government may declare holidays for schools and colleges if this case continues. It is a known fact that the Dasara holidays start on October 2 in Telangana, and if there is a holiday tomorrow, it will extend the holiday list.
