November 4 is for all sweet-to others in the world and an important day to talk about National Candy Day is set aside for indulgently enjoying your favourite candy sweets, reliving past childhood memories, and savouring every morsel to share a love for candies!

The origin of candy dates back to ancient India, where there was boiling and moulding with sugarcane juice. The primitive candy spread forth to other civilizations, in ancient China, Egypt, Greece, and even Rome, where honey came into use for sweetenings.

Before the Industrial Revolution, candy was a luxury for the elite. It was used as medicine to aid digestion, but with industrialization, candy became accessible to all.

Now, we have huge ranges of candies, having unique flavours and textures, while in India, sweets hold a special significance for them. They consume it before starting new ventures or any new thing so that it brings success for them.
