IRCTC Offering Vrat Thali For Passengers on Navratri Fast

Good news for the passengers who are on Navratri Fast and travelling through the Indian Railway Catering and Tourism Corporation (IRCTC). We all know that Dasara is one of the most important festivals for the Hindus and this year people are going to celebrate Durga Puja with much joy and happiness after two years of a halt due to the COVID-19 pandemic.So, people might be travelling to other places to celebrate the festival. Those devotees who are on fast during Navratri can have Vrat Thalis. Yes... What you read is right. The IRCTC has introduced Vrat Thalis for the passengers en route their journey. Passengers have to call 1323 and should place an order. This facility is available across 400 railway stations in India.

The starting price of IRCTC's food menu begins at Rs 99. Passengers are requested to note that special Navratri food will be available only on IRCTC trains that offer e-catering facilities. 

In the Navratri Thali, there will not be any onion or garlic. The starters menu includes Aloo chaap and Sabudana tikki. The main course includes Sabudana khichdi and paneer makhmali with parathas. Other food items like Kofta Curry, and Sabudana khichri Navratri thali are also available.

First, choose the outlet and then the passengers need to enter the PNR number.
Search for the restaurants nearby.
Choose the food and schedule and order.
Either you can pay online or cash on delivery.
Click on complete the order.
The food will be delivered to your seat.
