No One Can Stop Me, Says Telangana CM KCR at Sircilla

Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao visited Rajanna Sircilla district as a part of his Pragati Paryatana on Sunday. As a part of this programme, he inaugurated many buildings and launched several development programs. The Chief Minister said that no one can stop his journey.

"We have set a goal to perform various developmental activities in the state. We are moving in that direction, even after facing heavy criticism. The results are positive from the perspective of whole world," said KCR.

Later, KCR announced that pension will be given to those above 57 years from August 2021. He asserted that this was implemented as part of his assurance given during the 2018 elections. Earlier, people above 65 years were eligible for pension benefits under the Aasara scheme, but with the latest assurance, those above 57 years will get old-age pensions.

The Telangana CM said that he is planning to launch a Rs 5 lakh life insurance scheme for weavers against accidental death. He directed the officials to utilize the Godavari water which is being distributed in the state with the Kaleshwaram lift irrigation project.

Besides this, the Chief Minister promised to develop the Rajarajeshwara Swamy temple at Vemulawada and also bring a medical college and an engineering college for students in the district.
