Medchal Clash: TRS Leaders Seek KCR's Intervention
Former MLA Malipeddi Sudhir Reddy and his son, Medchal Zilla Parishad Chairman Sarath Chandrareddy have complained to Chief Minister KCR that Labor Minister Mallareddy is promoting group politics by spreading rumors against them in the Medchal Assembly constituency. Sarath Chandrareddy said that Mallareddy was acting unilaterally in the organizational committees and would resign as ZP chairman as he could not stand group politics.
In this context, Mallareddy, Sudhir Reddy, Sarath met Telangana CM KCR and KTR separately on Friday at the Legislative Assembly premises.
It is learned that KCR has suggested that everyone work together to strengthen the party and promised will meet the district TRS leaders after returning from Delhi. Sarath Chandrareddy said that the party working president KTR assured him that everything would be fine soon and therefore he was withdrawing his decision to resign.
However, the police did not allow Sarath Chandrareddy to enter the assembly as he did not have a visitor pass. After learning about it, Mallareddy came out of the assembly and took him inside.
