Heavy Rains Lash Hyderabad, IMD Forecasts Light Showers in Telangana

Hyderabad has reported sunny weather on Saturday morning with a cloudy sky, and in the evening there have been heavy rains across the city. The city's maximum temperature remained at 30 degrees Celsius and the minimum temperature was 26.6 degrees Celsius on Saturday.

The Telangana State Development Planning Society predicts that light to moderate thundershowers will occur in isolated areas of Hyderabad over the next three days. The maximum temperature in the city is predicted to be between 30 and 32 degrees Celsius, with a minimum temperature of between 21 and 23 degrees Celsius.

As of July 17, Hyderabad had gotten 322 mm of average rainfall in this month, compared to the 196.4 mm anticipated. According to officials at the Indian Meteorological Department-Hyderabad, a low-pressure system is expected to emerge over the Northwest Bay of Bengal and its surroundings around July 21, resulting in moderate showers in the city.

The IMD issued a five-day thunderstorm warning for several districts, including Adilabad, Nirmal, Nizamabad, Bhadradri Kothagudem, Khammam, Nalgonda, Suryapet, Yadadri Bhongir, Rangareddy, Hyderabad, Medchal Malkajgiri, Vikarabad, Sangareddy, Medak, Mahabubnagar, Nagarkurnool, Wanaparthy, Narayanpet, and Jogulamba Gadwal.
