11 Telangana Schools To Face Action For Violating GO, Charging Excess Fee From Students

The Telangana State School Education department submitted to Telangana High Court that eleven popular schools in Hyderabad are to be punished for violating a GO No 46 which had ordered the schools not to increase any kind of fee for the academic year 2020-21. They were asked only to charge tuition fees on a monthly basis till further orders.

Sridevasena, Director of School Education submitted that inquiry committees constituted to trace the violators found fault with Mount Litera Zee School in Manikonda for collecting caution deposit fee, Meridian School in Banjara Hills for the fabrication of fee structure, Oxford Grammar School in Himayatnagar for increasing the tuition fee for grade 3, Niraj Public School for adding lunch fee to tuition fee and collection of admission fee, Narayana School at DD Colony for changing the name of the tuition fee by adding another fee, Jubilee Hills Public School for adding computer lab fee, Geetanjali Public School for collection annual fees, Little Flower Public School for increasing fees, KALPA School AND St. Andrews School at Marredpally and Bowenpally for collecting an excess fee.

She said that action will be taken against all these Schools.
