West Godavari: Husband Catches Wife Red-handed With Lover, Duo Commit Suicide

A woman and her paramour have been caught red-handed by her husband and later both of them committed suicide. The incident took place in West Godavari district of Andhra Pradesh.

Going into the details, Kusuma Nagasai of Tangellamudi in Eluru district got married to a man from Tallapalem of Nidadavole district in 2014. The couple have been residing in Tallapalem. But before her marriage she is having a relationship with a man named Shaik Nagur. The woman continued her relationship with Shaik Nagur even after her marriage. Nagur used to frequently visit Nidadavole to meet Kusuma.  

Nagur came to Tallapalem on Sunday to meet her. Kusuma's cousin gave them a room to spend time together. The husband of the woman who got to know about this came to the room along with some locals. Both of them have been severely beaten and they have been locked in a room. Nagur and Kusuma consumed rat poison and committed suicide. After some time, the locals went to see them and both of them have been found in an unconscious state. Kusuma was rushed to the government hospital in Nidadavole. Doctors confirmed that she was brought dead. Nagur was also found dead in the room. Police who received the information rushed to the spot and a case has been filed. Police are investigating in all the angles to know the exact reason behind the suicide of both of them.
