Hyderabad :Woman Killed, Husband Injured In Road Accident At Hayathnagar

Hyderabad : A couple who were going towards Jaipuri Colony on their two-wheeler from Papaiguda crossroads met with an accident on Tuesday, when a DCM hit their vehicle. While the woman died on the spot, the husband suffered injuries. The woman identified as Shyamala Sammakka (50),  who was pillion riding, fell from the moped, and the DCM van ran over her and she died on the spot. Her husband Somaiah suffered multiple injuries and was shifted to a hospital nearby. 

As per Hayathnagar Inspector H Venkateshwarlu’s version the DCM was driven in a rash manner which resulted in the accident. The woman’s body was shifted for post-mortem and a case was registered against the driver and the vehicle was seized.
